Recent Events

 In April, 2011, AIX Global, attended an Audiology conference in Chicago to support Starkey Laboratories.  

 AIX Global recently attended Arab Health 2011 in Dubai, and met with several portfolio companies including Fenwal Inc, Neurologica, Medline, DRE, Laboratorius Conda, Medgyn, Ohio Medical, UMF, BioMed Devices, Abaxis, and other new potential suppliers.

November 24th - AIX Global visited Conda Spain in Madrid, Spain to
take a tour of their culture media plant and meet with their staff.

November 18 - 22nd -- AIX Global attended Medica in Dusseldorf. We
met with several of our portfolio companies including DRE, Medline,
Medgyn, Trulife, Invacare, Sharn Anesthesia, Demetech, and several new
potential partners for Iraq.


November 10th 2009 - Exports Live Conference in Chicago - Tamara
Quinn, President and CEO was asked to speak on behalf of EXIM Bank
and SBA in support of both programs. She presented along with several
other CEOs in the Midwest region and provided assistance to small
businesses during a question and answer session.

On October 21st - Genine Shafer, VP Business Development, attended
MedIreland on behalf of Enterprise Ireland. She also visited Trulife's
Dublin plant and met with their staff.


Iraqi Health Summit

We are pleased to inform you that the Iraq Health Summit which took place in Istanbul, Turkey February 19th and 20th was a great success for AIX Global, it’s sister companies in Iraq, and all of the companies we represent.

The summit included several meetings with MOH directors, and also with the Minister of Health, Dr. Al Hasnawi.  AIX Global was very well received, and we believe a very bright future lies ahead for us all.  We have a lot of work to do, but are confident that we can accomplish a lot with our network of offices and the help of our manufacturers and suppliers.

Training in Istanbul

AIX Global and Fenwal held a joint-sponsored training seminar for blood collection systems in Istanbul, Turkey on June 16th, 2009.  The seminar featured Fenwal’s ALYX automated component collection system, as well as their Autopheresis-C collection system.  AIX Global sponsored two representatives, a doctor and engineer to come from Iraq to participate in the seminar and visit a local blood bank in Istanbul, where Fenwal products are administered.  Our representatives were able to see a live demonstration of the ALYX and Gordon Smith of Fenwal gave us a tour of the blood bank, along with the hospital blood bank directors.
